Abstract:
This research project aims to assess the impact of different cropping systems on carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Agriculture is a significant contributor to GHG emissions, primarily through the release of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O). However, certain cropping systems have the potential to mitigate these emissions and enhance carbon sequestration, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation efforts.
