Abstract:
This research study aims to examine the effects of social support on mental health outcomes among individuals with chronic illnesses. Chronic illnesses can have a significant impact on individuals’ mental well-being, and social support has been recognized as a crucial factor in coping with the challenges associated with these conditions. This study seeks to explore the extent to which social support influences mental health outcomes among individuals with chronic illnesses, including their psychological well-being, quality of life, and overall mental health status. The research will utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather comprehensive data. The findings of this study will contribute to a better understanding of the role of social support in promoting mental health among individuals with chronic illnesses and provide insights for healthcare professionals and support networks on how to effectively provide social support to enhance mental well-being.
