Exploring the Biochemical Basis of Drug Resistance in Microbial Pathogens. MSC

Abstract:
This research project aims to explore the biochemical basis of drug resistance in microbial pathogens. The emergence and spread of drug-resistant pathogens pose a significant threat to global health, making it crucial to understand the underlying mechanisms of resistance. This study will focus on investigating the biochemical processes and molecular mechanisms that contribute to drug resistance in bacteria, viruses, and fungi. By elucidating the pathways involved in resistance, this research aims to identify novel targets for the development of effective antimicrobial therapies. The project will employ a combination of experimental and computational approaches to study drug resistance mechanisms, providing valuable insights into the biochemical basis of resistance and potential strategies to overcome it.
