Abstract:
This research project aims to investigate the impact of gut microbiota on human health and disease. The gut microbiota, a complex community of microorganisms residing in the gastrointestinal tract, plays a crucial role in maintaining host health and influencing various physiological processes. Imbalances in the gut microbiota have been associated with the development of numerous diseases, including metabolic disorders, autoimmune diseases, and mental health disorders. Understanding the interactions between the gut microbiota and the host can provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and potential therapeutic interventions. This study will employ a combination of experimental and computational approaches to explore the role of gut microbiota in human health and disease.
